The Dashboard¶
Armory Bot follows one rule: configure on the web, act in Discord. Settings, templates, channels and thresholds live on the web Dashboard, where the main features each have their own page, with validation on every save. Slash commands stay for the in-the-moment plays.
Opening it¶
Run /dashboard in your Server. The bot replies (only you can see it) with an Open Dashboard button that lands on your Server's page. You can also go straight to dashboard.armorybot.win, sign in with Discord and pick a Server.
You can open a Server's pages if you own the Server or hold Manage Server or Administrator there. A Server Admin can also give your role some of the pages through a grant with Dashboard access; you then see only those pages. See Dashboard Access. The Dashboard is free for every Admin.
The overview page¶
The first page you land on is the Server overview:
- Online / Offline - whether the bot is up right now.
- Stat tiles - Members, Commands Used, Latency, Actions Today, and (once you have any) your Tags and Triggers.
- Quick Add - three shortcuts that create a Tag without opening the full editor: a starter welcome tag, a rules tag that points Members at
#rules, and a Custom Quick Builder where you type a name and content (TagScript works). See Custom Commands & Tags. - Modules - one card per feature (Moderation, Economy, Leveling, Tags & Triggers, Welcome, Voice, Music, Logging, Role Menus, Suggestions, Timers). Click a card to open its page. Server managers get an On / Off switch on each; turning one off asks you to confirm first. Members using a grant see only the cards for their pages, with the state but no switch. Music shows a Premium badge instead of a switch, because it is a Premium Feature.
- Recent Activity - the latest changes made to this Server, with a View all link to the Activity Log.
- Top Actions (30 days) - a bar chart of the most common logged actions.
The Activity Log¶
The Activity Log page (reached from View all in Recent Activity) is the audit trail for the Server: every logged change made from the Dashboard or in Discord, newest first, 25 to a page.
- Use the All Actions filter to narrow it to one action type (for example the
permission.*entries that record/permissions grant, denyandrevoke). The filter lists the action types on the page you are viewing. - Click an entry to expand it and see the recorded details as JSON, the target, and the exact time.
- Each entry shows the ID of whoever did it. A globe icon marks a change made on the Dashboard; entries logged from Discord commands and the bot carry a robot icon.
